3 Reasons Why Professional Viera, FL Air Conditioning Maintenance is a Must
Of all the different systems that you rely on to keep your Brevard County home safe and comfortable, the central AC system is the most important. In Florida, where the heat and humidity are the norms, a central air conditioner isn’t a luxury, but rather, it’s a necessity.
In order to ensure it continues to keep your house cool and your family safe, routine air conditioning maintenance is a must. Like a lot of homeowners, however, you might think that changing out the air filters every few months is all that’s needed to maintain your air conditioner; in reality, proper maintenance is more complex and in-depth, than that.
Proper air conditioning maintenance involves thoroughly inspecting the system and all of its components, detecting and correcting any issues that are detected, making adjustments and lubricating the working parts, and checking and recharging the refrigerant. In order to ensure that everything is done properly, hiring a professional Viera, FL AC installation and maintenance company at least once a year is highly recommended.
Here’s a look at three reasons why professional air conditioning maintenance is highly recommended.
Your Brevard County home should be a comfortable haven all year long, even when the heat and humidity are oppressive. With routine air conditioning maintenance by a Viera, FL AC installation and maintenance company, you can feel confident knowing that no matter how unbearable things get outside, you and your family will be able to enjoy much-needed respite inside.
During routine air conditioning maintenance appointments, a technician from a reputable Viera, FL AC installation, maintenance, and repair company will perform a thorough assessment of your entire central air conditioning system. During the inspection, any minor issues will be detected and can be corrected before they become bigger problems that can lead to complete breakdowns. Plus, having the system thoroughly cleaned, the working components lubricated, and the refrigerant levels checked and recharged, will further reduce the risk of system failures.
When a central air conditioning system isn’t working properly, rather than being an asset, it can be a serious liability. It the components are damaged, belts can snap, wires can fray and electrical shorts can occur, and there’s even a chance that toxic fumes can be released into your house. Furthermore, if the system isn’t working as efficiently as it should be or it fails completely, the conditions inside your Brevard County home can quickly become extremely hot and humid.
In order to protect the health and safety of yourself and your loved ones, routine air conditioning maintenance services from a reputable Viera, FL AC installation company is highly recommended. A licensed and experienced professional will perform a comprehensive assessment of your entire system, will clean and lubricate all components, and if any issues are detected, they’ll make sure that they are properly corrected.

Viera is an affluent, master-planned community located in the central coastal region of Brevard County, Florida. It is part of an unincorporated section adjacent to the Melbourne, Florida area. For census purposes, it is divided between the Census Designated Places of Viera East and Viera West. At the 2010 census, Viera East had a population of 10,757, while Viera West had a population of 6,641.
The land was developed by the Viera Company, a subsidiary of A. Duda and Sons, which owned the property formerly known as Cocoa Ranch. On August 4, 1989, they broke ground in this unincorporated area for the new community of Viera. It is derived from viera meaning ‘faith’ in Slovak, in honor of family patriarch Andrew Duda, who immigrated to the United States in 1912 from what became Slovakia. Starting in 1990, the Duda family started developing a new community with a mix of land uses, including a variety of housing types, offices, medical and industrial parks, shopping centers and recreational facilities. Todd Pokrywa was appointed President of The Viera Company effective September 1, 2018. Pokrywa named as the incoming president of The Viera Co., replacing retiring Steve Johnson
The family has donated a total of 622.7 acres (252.0 ha) of land to various organizations. The following lists the acres donated, the year, and what the land was donated for:
The Viera Development of Regional Impact (DRI) was approved in 1990 for about 3,000 acres (1,200 ha), making up Viera East. In 1992 construction began on what would become Viera East. In 1995, a 6,000-acre (2,400 ha) expansion was approved by Brevard County as a Substantial Deviation to the original DRI. Application was made for Substantial Deviation #2 in 2006 and was approved to plan for the final expansion of the community. The 11,567-acre (4,681 ha) expansion will include 5,112 acres (2,069 ha) to be set aside as managed protected land, conservation areas, parks and open space.
