3 Important Questions to Ask Before You Hire a Viera, FL HVAC Repair Technician

When the temperatures climb sky-high and the humidity starts weighing you down, you’re thankful you have a central air conditioner to keep your Brevard County house cool and comfortable. Like anything else, however, an air conditioning system can break down, and when that happens, you need to act fast and have it repaired.

When it comes to something as important as your home’s cooling system, however, you don’t want to hire just any Viera, FL HVAC repair technician; you want to hire someone you can really count on to deliver the most reliable results. How do you do that? By interviewing a few different contractors that specialize in hvac repair near me and asking some key questions.

Here’s a look at three important questions to ask before you hire a Viera, FL HVAC repair professional.

Do you have a license?

A central air conditioning system is pretty complex. It’s comprised of a collection of components, such as pumps, fans, belts, tubes, ductwork, and electrical wires, that work together to keep your Brevard County home cool and dry. Repairing such a complex system requires professional training and hands-on experience. A license confirms that a Viera, FL HVAC repair contractor has completed the training and has the experience that’s necessary to properly repair your air conditioning system.

Do you have insurance coverage?

Believe it or not, when it comes to repairing an air conditioning system, there are a lot of things that can go wrong; the technician could accidentally damage your Brevard County house, or they could suffer an injury that requires medical care, for example.

In the event that something does go wrong, you don’t want to get hit with the unexpected – and exorbitant – expense. That’s why it’s so important to make sure that the Viera, FL HVAC repair contractor you hire is properly insured, and that their policies are valid.

How many years have you been in business?

Cape Canaveral, FL

Sure, there’s a chance that a new company that just started offering hvac repair near me could offer reliable service; however, when it comes to something as crucial as keeping your Brevard County home cool and your family safe and comfortable, you really don’t want to leave anything to chance.

That’s why hiring a well-established Viera, FL HVAC repair professional that has been servicing the Brevard County community for several years is highly recommended. The longer they’ve been in business, the more experience they will have, and they will bring that experience to your project.

Viera is an affluent, master-planned community located in the central coastal region of Brevard County, Florida. It is part of an unincorporated section adjacent to the Melbourne, Florida area. For census purposes, it is divided between the Census Designated Places of Viera East and Viera West. At the 2010 census, Viera East had a population of 10,757, while Viera West had a population of 6,641.

The land was developed by the Viera Company, a subsidiary of A. Duda and Sons, which owned the property formerly known as Cocoa Ranch. On August 4, 1989, they broke ground in this unincorporated area for the new community of Viera. It is derived from viera meaning ‘faith’ in Slovak, in honor of family patriarch Andrew Duda, who immigrated to the United States in 1912 from what became Slovakia. Starting in 1990, the Duda family started developing a new community with a mix of land uses, including a variety of housing types, offices, medical and industrial parks, shopping centers and recreational facilities. Todd Pokrywa was appointed President of The Viera Company effective September 1, 2018. Pokrywa named as the incoming president of The Viera Co., replacing retiring Steve Johnson

The Viera Development of Regional Impact (DRI) was approved in 1990 for about 3,000 acres (1,200 ha), making up Viera East. In 1992 construction began on what would become Viera East. In 1995, a 6,000-acre (2,400 ha) expansion was approved by Brevard County as a Substantial Deviation to the original DRI. Application was made for Substantial Deviation #2 in 2006 and was approved to plan for the final expansion of the community. The 11,567-acre (4,681 ha) expansion will include 5,112 acres (2,069 ha) to be set aside as managed protected land, conservation areas, parks and open space.
